A Long Time Ago ... I became a Star Wars fan. My love for Star Wars was born when my father took me and my brother to see the original movie at the Regent Theatre in my home town, Great Yarmouth, in January 1978. I was 7 years-old. Needless to say, it made quite an impact on me. To celebrate The Force Awakens, I have created a 100-day countdown to its release. Using images from my collection, I will share my favorite memories of 35+ years of being a fan and collector of all things Star Wars.

13 days to go: My Jedi Robes
Some years ago, Bradley surprised me with the most awesome Christmas gift. He had commissioned his best friend Amanda, who is a theatrical costume designer, to make me a replica Obi-Wan costume. Produced from the original patterns used for the movie, it is beautifully made. In addition, I commissioned a pair of Jedi boots and a Jedi belt to go with it. I have worn it a few times for special events, including Halloween, and even wore it for a business presentation! I also have a full replica Darth Vader costume, so I can choose between the Light Side or the Dark Side!
