Back in 1986, to celebrate the birth of my sister Lindsey, I purchased a Princess Kneesa Ewok plush for her. I remember taking it to the hospital as a gift. I am still disappointed that my parents wouldn’t name my new sibling Leia, but this cuddly toy was to ensure that she would become a life-long Star Wars fan like me. Princess Kneesa resides in my collection now, but officially she still belongs to Lindsey!
A Long Time Ago ... I became a Star Wars fan. My love for Star Wars was born when my father took me and my brother to see the original movie at the Regent Theatre in my home town, Great Yarmouth, in January 1978. I was 7 years-old. Needless to say, it made quite an impact on me. To celebrate The Force Awakens, I have created a 100-day countdown to its release. Using images from my collection, I will share my favorite memories of 35+ years of being a fan and collector of all things Star Wars.
