I was fortunate to be in the audience at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim California in 2015 to hear Bob Iger, Disney's Chairman & CEO, officially announce the creation of Star Wars lands for both Disneyland California and Walt Disney World, Florida. Beyond the excitement of this announcement, also in attendance was the director of The Force Awakens, JJ Abrams, along with many of the cast, including Han Solo himself, Harrison Ford! It will be a day long remembered. Each audience member also received the newly-revealed first film poster for The Force Awakens.
