In terms of supply, quality and collectability, I felt that Hasbro’s core Star Wars action figure range wobbled a bit a few years ago. They were difficult to get hold of, the quality wasn’t great and I felt they'd lost some of their innovation. Then they launched a new 6" action figure range they called 'The Black Series'. I got interested again. Being larger than the traditional action figures, they were able to add much greater detail. They continue to do a great job with them, although they are still very hard to get hold of (which makes the hunt more fun!).
