A Long Time Ago ... I became a Star Wars fan.
My love for Star Wars was born when my father took me and my brother to see the original movie at the Regent Theatre in my home town, Great Yarmouth, in January 1978. I was 7 years-old. Needless to say, it made quite an impact on me.
To celebrate The Force Awakens, I have created a 100-day countdown to its release. Using images from my collection, I will share my favorite memories of 35+ years of being a fan and collector of all things Star Wars.

yes, yes, I admit it, I have a Build-A-Bear. Of course, it goes without saying
that it is a Star Wars one. I have all these little Star Wars outfits for him.
They were just too cute to resist!
according to our 2 daughters.... It's always better to build a bear than not build a bear....! and an outfit or 3 makes the magic complete...! can we see Leia?! Mel & Steve xx
