I know Captain Eo is not technically Star Wars, but this Disney theme park attraction starring Michael Jackson as a planet-saving space captain, was also created by George Lucas. I always believed that Captain Eo was set in the same galaxy as Star Wars. I first experienced the attraction on a visit to EuroDisney in 1992. As a Michael Jackson fan, a Disney fan and a George Lucas fan, naturally I loved it! I was delighted when it had a short revival recently in the Disney Parks as a tribute to MJ. I always imagined it was what Star Wars would have been like if it was a musical!
