33 days to go: Keeping track of my collection

Over the years there have been many, many newspaper and magazine advertisements covering Star Wars toys, as well as multiple catalogues from retailers and manufacturers showing the latest ranges. I kept them all so that I could keep track of what I had and what I hoped to have. As most children would do in the run up to Christmas, I would circle those items in the catalogues that I most wanted, hoping Father Christmas would put them under the tree. Knowing I couldn’t have them all, I would deliberate for weeks and weeks over my selection, which was usually based on the one with the most play factor to it.
